Eligibility: Interlibrary loan request may be submitted by any COLL staff person.

Submitting Request: Request can be submitted in person, placed in the library's mail box, left under the librarian's door or via the library's web site. ILL forms are available in the library or online.

Pick Up of Materials: ILL materials are placed in the requesters mail box or delivered in person.

Return of ILL Materials: ILL materials may be returned via the library's mail box or delivered to the librarian's office.

Cost: Whenever possible materials will be requested on a FREE basis. If this is not possible prior payment arrangements will be with the requester before the ILL is submitted.

Time Allowed for Receipt: Interlibrary loan generally takes anywhere from ten days to two weeks. Materials which are available locally may be obtained in a few days. If you need materials by a certain date, specify this on your request form, and we will make every effort to meet your needs. Please place your requests early. Not all materials are available for interlibrary loan; availability of material is at the discretion of the lending library.

Renewals: Should you need to use loaned materials beyond the due date given on the book sleeve, you must contact the COLL staff prior to the due date to request a renewal. Renewal is at the discretion of the lending library. The staff will notify you with the new due date once the request is granted or denied.
